2. Core principle: the free receipt never leaves your browser

The free receipt form on this website runs entirely in your browser. Everything you type into the fields, that is recipient, amount, purpose, place, date and signature line, is never transmitted to our servers and never stored. VAT is calculated locally in your browser as well. Clicking "Print / save as PDF" opens your own device's print dialog. We never see the contents of your receipt.

No registration is required. We do not operate user accounts as long as you use the free service.

4. Hosting and server logs

This website is delivered via:

Delivery and server-side rendering are configured to the Frankfurt am Main region (fra1). When you visit the site, the server processes technically necessary access data:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• the address requested and the amount of data transferred
• browser and operating system identifier
• the referring page, where applicable

This data is required to deliver the page and to defend against attacks. It is not merged with other data sources and is not used for profiling.

Third-country transfer: Vercel Inc. is based in the USA. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place, supplemented by Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 (2) (c) GDPR) in case of access from a third country.

5. Cookies and local storage

This website uses no tracking cookies, no advertising cookies and no social media plugins. There is no web analytics, in particular no Google Analytics.

The only technically necessary entry is:

• NEXT_LOCALE, stores your language choice (German or English) so the site opens in your preferred language next time

Legal basis: sec. 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, as strictly necessary for the service explicitly requested by the user, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. For this reason no cookie banner is required.

If you write to us by email, we process your details in order to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. We do not pass this data on without your consent and delete it once the enquiry has been concluded, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Recipients and processors

We currently use only the following service provider:

• Vercel Inc. (USA, execution region Frankfurt), hosting and delivery of the website

Personal data is never sold or passed on for advertising purposes.

8. Retention periods

• Entries in the receipt form: not stored, they remain solely in your browser
• Server access data: only for as long as required for operation and security
• Email correspondence: until the enquiry is concluded, then within statutory periods
